UPS
How UPS targeted specific audiences with the help of BBC World.
THE BRIEF
UPS wanted to position themselves as a trusted global supply chain solution provider.
THE SOLUTION
BBC World created “Delivering Success”, eight vignettes focusing on international businesses within four key industries: fashion; automotive; pharmaceuticals and technology.
Delivering Success takes a ‘behind the scenes’ look at global collaborations behind some of the world's most iconic brands. Each programme focuses on a particular company and examines how the component parts are sourced and brought together to form the finished product.
The sponsorship included:
Opening and closing billboards
8 x 50” vignette series including companies - Bentley, Brompton bikes, Neal’s Yard and KTM
Specially created microsite www.delivering-success.com including streaming of the vignettes
UPS also ran an adjacent 30” commercial spot
Pre and post research including viewer panel questionnaire
WHAT THE CLIENT THOUGHT
"The BBC World Delivering Success sponsorship provided Universal McCann a perfect opportunity to sustain and build on UPS's own promise to 'Deliver more', communicating the importance of their services beyond shipping"
Marcus Erlandsson, Universal McCann
Campaign duration: May - July & Sept - Oct
Region: Europe
